Scientists have found 200 new species in the Nakini and Muller mountains while doing a survey. This included 100 spiders, 24 new frogs and 9 new plants.

A montane mouse is completely unique. It has a long tipped tail and might be the first of a completely new species! There is also a new spider called the Anelosimus spider and a new frog called a long nosed frog.

And it isn’t just new animals scientists have discovered; there are loads of new plants including a white-flowered Rhododendron. Scientists hope that more will be done to protect these new species.
