Top Five Eco Enterprise Day Products

Last Thursday the Year 9s sold us their products that they were busy making since the start of term. I’m going to go through my top 5 in this special article.

5. Puff Delights £0.25, £0.40 The Puff Delights were some delicious pastry sausage rolls which were sold as Small, Large and Vegetarian. These rolls were very cheap and very tasty and which is why they are going on my top ten.

4. Drink Can Money Boxes £0.50 These exactly what it says on the tin, or should I say the can. These cans were money boxes with brands like Coca Cola and Fanta on them with a hole in the top to put your money in. Genius! But there is one slight flaw. You use a can opener to open it and then have to fiddle to put it back. But I think that all in all, very well done.

3. Acrylic key rings £0.30-£1.00 Some students made some fantastic key rings made out of a special plastic called acrylic. These came in many shapes and sizes and are very smooth. Some were very big and are hard to fit in pockets but overall, this is a very good product.

2. Special Oyster Card Holders £0.40 Ever get annoyed with the Transport for London branded Oyster Card Holders? Well, if you’re like me then you’ll want something different. This stall sold Oyster card holders with DVD covers, advertisements etc. These holders were the bits of paper, sewn inside two layers of plastic.

1. All the Magnificent Original Products the Year Nines came up with These Year Nines spent hard work making those products and made a fantastic amount of money that Lord Alan Sugar would be proud of. “You’re hired!”
