Have you ever wanted to learn to ski or snowboard? Or maybe just ringo ride in the snow? But the French Alps are pretty far. Well no need to worry The Snow Centre is less than an hour’s drive!
Situated in Hemel Hempstead, just off the M1, is The Snow Centre a place that promises to give you an action packed day of adventure! It doesn’t matter whether you can’t ski or snowboard as lessons are available at reasonable prices. And for the more experienced they offer free time on the shimmering slopes to have fun doing something your sure to love!

The 160m slope is kept covered in fresh snow all day everyday and four slope lifts maximise time on the slopes. Don’t worry if you don’t have the right equipment as there is equipment on site to hire. As well as lessons and freestyle time there are also courses after school, on weekends and even during the holidays. The temperature ranges from -2°c to -6°c so it is recommended to wear warm and waterproof clothing but most importantly have fun!
Aerial Extreme!
The cold isn’t for you? No worries, there are plenty more activities sure to raise your adrenaline! Aerial extreme is an adventure course based 14m in the air! This is a high rope course like no other. With 37 different obstacle courses it promises to be hours of fun!
First we get safety out of the way by putting a helmet on and an instructor attaching you to your life preserver – your safety chord and your good to go! The terrifying obstacles include, mid air jumps, zip chords, suspended climbing walls and even more!
If you ever get into any trouble trained staff are only a shout away! And, it’s only a short drive to Milton Keynes!
