In early November this year I'm a celebrity: Get me out of here! returned to our TV screens. Everyone loves to watch I'm a celebrity as it’s a chance to watch celebrities make complete and utter fools of themselves.
This years first ten contestants were Stacey Solomon, Lindford Christie, Lembit Opik, Nigel Havers, Britt Ekland, Shaun Ryder, Kayla Collins, Sheryl Gascoigne, Gillian Mc Keith and Agro Santos. Joining the camp all little while in were comedians Dom Joly Jenny Eclair and TV presenter Alison Hammond.
So far this year we have watched some gut wrenching trials like Jenny and Alison’s StarBugs which consists of them drinking disgusting jungle delicacies. But what’s on everyone’s mind is Gillian McKeith: are you having a laugh? She was terrified when first entering the jungle which made the British public want to watch her all the more. She was nominated for no less than eight bush tucker trials but shocked the nation on her first one, crate escape, where she called ‘I'm a celebrity get me out of here’ and fainted. After that trial she was nominated for all of the trials until the public couldn’t choose anymore.
She said she a phobia of bugs, water, spiders, crocodiles, heights and rats. Everyone was asking why she even came onto the show when she claimed she had never seen it before. She was nominated for the live trial where the fellow contestants would watch her. She fainted before the trial even began and was rushed off. Now the public can’t vote we hope to see some more of the contestants participating in the bushtucker trials.
